I'm on the Pursuit of Happiness

"I thought about one of my favorite Sufi poems, which says that God long ago drew a circle in the sand exactly around the spot where you are standing right now. I was never not coming here. This was never not going to happen." - Elizabeth Gilbert

Amazing Quote, huh?! It's mind blowing when you look back on your life and realize how things that happened that were so tough and heartbreaking where the steps it took to make you the person you are. Without those rocky mountains to climb would you be the great explorer you are today? I believe that no matter what, God, has your life drafted out way before you are even born. He steers you down a path right to a fork in the road and gives you the choice to decide, hoping you pick the right one. The reels in my mind start turning again as it brings me back a few years ago when I was attending my first year of college. Majoring in Dental Hygiene I found it was my golden ticket to a secure life. Then I started to become uneasy, like my life of a golden ticket was not golden after all. Everything that shines isn't always gold ... and this turned out to be nothing but a sheet of shiny tinfoil. I came home and decided that for now college was not on the trail for me yet. As I was invisioning my map of life I could see that the star which indicated "You are here" was far on the other side of where I was intended to go. I feel that God sets a burning desire in everyone of us and it takes a mixture of hope, dreaming and fate to bring you to your destiny. With one of those three keys missing you could potentially lose those changes you were made to have. I can't begin to fathom all the events that have lead me to where I am right at this moment. It's still a masterpiece in progress but my life is nowhere near the end .... I have plenty of time to bask in the sun and thank God for every moment.

Just wanted to share this video with everyone. One of my team member from MARK created this video of our team (HEAT RISING) in NYC and it is absolutely amazing and creative.
