This sentence is, for all intents and purposes, the death phrase for us strong willed women. From family, friends, coworkers, and even from the guys I go on dates with. Just being a woman nearing her 30's everyone wants to know ... WHY?!

First, I do not NEED a man. (Key word: Need). I don't get in relationships to just have someone there. I'm wasting my time and yours. I support myself and I don't need anyone to "take care" of me. We're not living in some 1950's bullshit era. Don't confuse my frustration when it comes to this subject. I'm not some anti-man, hating feminist. I just feel that I'm not prepared to settle just for mediocrity. I'll choose to date when I feel it's right but I'm not auditioning for the bachelorette. Women who don't care who the guy is or that he's also dating 30 other women just for the chance to marry him revolts me. Sorry not sorry.

Ladies and Gentlemen just remember this little nugget of wisdom I'm about to drop you.
A (wo)man won't complete you. You have to be complete on your own. A relationship is based to two supportive and loving humans who bring out the best in each other. When one isn't complete that's when jealousy and pettiness come to light.

I'm craving that SYNERGY. I just haven't found it yet.
To be continued ...

  1. Synergy is possible to find but it won't magically appear in someone's life
